Youth Leadership
One-Day Intensive for the Leaders of Tomorrow

Providing strong, capable leadership, and gaining the wisdom and confidence to handle “difficult” situations well, are some of the most challenging aspects of becoming a leader. Knowing how to set up an environment and “team attitude” where communication flows easily and effectively; leading by example when it comes to giving and receiving both praise and criticism; coaching, motivation and delegation – these are the skills that define effective leadership. This course provides youthful participants with the skills to develop a structured approach to leadership; to build trust and rapport within the team; to handle typical awkward team situations assertively and with respect; to anticipate and diffuse potential conflict; and ways to praise and motivate colleagues. |
