Providing strong, capable leadership, and having to handle “difficult” performance feedback situations are some of the most challenging aspects of being a manager and leader. Setting up an environment and “team attitude” where communication flows easily and effectively; leading by example when giving and receiving praise and criticism; coaching, motivation and delegation – these are the skills that define great leaders. This course provides participants with the skills to handle typical awkward staff feedback situations assertively and with respect; to develop trust and rapport within the team; to diffuse potential conflict; and to praise and motivate colleagues. |
