Having to handle “difficult” feedback situations is one of the most challenging and important aspects of being a manager and leader. Setting up an environment and “team attitude” where communication flows easily and effectively; leading by example when it comes to giving and receiving both praise and criticism – these are the skills that define the effective manager and team- leader. This course provides participants with the skills to set up and/or implement a structured approach to Performance Feedback; to develop trust and rapport within the team; to handle typical awkward staff feedback situations assertively and with respect; to diffuse potential conflict; and to praise and motivate colleagues. |
